****! I knew I should have made the Simpsons thread the Matt Groening's thread. Now I'm going to have to make a Life in Hell thread....or not.

Scruffy is a character they added later on to make Planet Express more of a business area but since he got added so late they couldn't really do anything with him and his character became a one-joke..character.

Besides the main cast (whom I love) I have to say Smitty and URL are my favorite.

More **** you don't want to hear but my friend was convinced that romo was a term they used on Futurama. I told her only robo was used, but she wouldn't believe me. She told me what "episode" it came from and I said that never happened you must of dreamed it.

Flashback to now, in English class we have lit groups where we have to read a certain amount of books a week and do mini-reports on them...well we needed to come up with a name. Naturally we picked the Reading Romos.

I'm done for now.

This isn't a war it's a murder!

Aww ihawk. How I love you so.

If Scruffy had a thing for Amy, I think I'd melt through the floor and it could happen. The new DVD's are coming out as Fox is too lazy to revive it on their show.

While I wouldn't call it crap, I do think they are stretching American Idol out one too many seasons.

Guess what Arrested Development is being replaced by? Ebaums world..yeah, a show around a crappy website.

I have a dirty secret.

You know that episode where Fry finds Seymore, his old dog, and has the chance to bring him back to life, but doesn't? Well, I always cry during that episode. Proof that I'm a female right there, crying during an emotional TV show or movie.

I weep too.

The worst part is that Fry thought he lived a full life, but in reality he spent his life waiting for Fry.

Dude. I just noticed this thread exists. So I thought I'd share that I totally have a Futurama calendar. I am currently on a picture of Fry sitting on a rock with the Mermaid from that one episode. It has Bender with a soggy cigar, Zoidburg trying to steal the hamburger in Fry's hand, and Nibbler having eaten a bird with feathers sticking out of his mouth. I'll post a pic if wanted.

My favorite/least favorite episode of futurama was just on. Jurassic Bark. The one where Fry's dog is preserved and found in the future. And he decides not to bring him back, even though he loved him and missed him. Because he lived a long life after Fry disappeared. But he actually waited for him for 12 years. 12 years! I heard it was based on a true story about a dog in Japan who would return to a train-station where he met his master everday, long after the man had died. It's so sad. I get choked up watching it. Thats right I said it. I'm man enough to admit it. I guess I'm just a total dog person.

Everyone cried at that episode.

Except for Chuck Norris, but his beard cried.

I've never seen Brian's Song. Or that Courage the Cowardly Dog episode with the space-squid. But I did like that show. I can't remember if cried during E.T. it's been so long. I most likely did when I first saw it. How could anyone not back then. Especially as kids. I think I did the first time I saw The end of Titanic too. That movie was so huge back in the day. And I've never really seen all of Old Yeller. But I know enough about the story that it might be a mybe. Also, I think Steven Segal could totally take Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris, Vin Diesel, Mr. T, Segata Sanshiro, Steven Segal, and Norm Abram.

Sure everyone loves Chuck Norris now with this big fad going on. But Steven Segal is so badass he doesn't need a fad following. He was in a movie with JA RULE. Let me repeat that, he was in a movie with JA RULE. And he wore a dew-rag throughout the movie. I'm pretty sure that counts as just about the greatest example of cinema EVER! Also one of my favortie quotes is from that movie:
Ja rule: " Yo Sasha, we alright?"
Steven Segal: "No,.........we AIGHT."

That's poetry in it's purest form there. Now don't get me wrong, I love me some Chuck too. But Steve is numba 1. AIGHT!

P.S. I totally love that guy who dressed up as Zoidberg. So cool. I want that costume!

Has Steven ever given a gift to jesus? Fought Bruce Lee? Scared death? Almost had dinosaurs named after him? Stopped a rock? Not paid taxes ever?

I think not.
