Is either one of you using a wireless connection? It may be due to loss of packets across the connection. If so, attach the wireless computer using an ethernet chord.

If not, try resetting your router.

Hi!
My friend and I played via the internet (without any wireless connecitons) a campaign multiplayer game. After a couples of hours, the game crashed saying synchronization error. After that, we couldn't continue our game OR even load it back (because we've saved a couple of times!)!!

Why did it happen? I think it is unacceptable that so much time can be invested in ... a total lost of time!

It even more frustrating since I was winning ;)
