Can't install

Just got the game and I can't even install the game. I got battlefield 2 a few weeks ago so i know my computer is up to date with what is needed for games to run. I get a error part way into installing that says

Feature Transfer error
Feature : Game
File :
Error: Catastrophic failure

This happens while installing C:\... \audio\SFX\SFX3D_Non_Localized MEG

What could be wrong?

I copied files into 2 folders, one for each cd and i got to the 2nd CD..but about half way threw the 2nd CD i get the same error....what do you guys think?
