As the title says, is it possible to add a third race? or is it hard coded, just a bit curious. :)

No idea how, but a 3rd playable faction was added in a demo mod (Warlord) to replace the pirates. So yes, i'd say it is possible.

Is there a maximum number of races, or can you just keep adding. I remember A1 could only have 4 races, whereas A2 you could just keep adding (at least I managed to get it up to 15 races). I don't have EAW yet, I still have a few contests open where I can win the game. Unlikely that I win though, unless I already have bought the game, in that case I am likely to win another one, always happens to me that way. :lol:
