Malachor V. The planet is desolate, dark, pulsating with the
presence of the Dark Side. It is here that the JEDI EXILE, named
TYSY DVUKH, will confront someone who has turned against her.
This one was her Master and teacher, an aged Jedi called KREIA.
However, Kreia has revealed herself to be the third of a triumvirate
of powerful Sith Lords. She is DARTH TRAYA, a manipulative mastermind.
TYSY does not want revenge--only answers. Her comrades aboard the
EBON HAWK, however, may want more than that. They have all come
together to defeat this final Sith Lord, destroying her link to the Force...
**********************************************
"Kreia?" Tysy Dvukh's voice was soft and humble, as an exile's would
be. "Is that you in the middle of the Trayus Core, after all?" She looked
closer. Indeed, it was her former teacher, the one who had allowed her
to reconnect with the Force. Why had Kreia betrayed her--all of them?
"I haven't come alone," said the Exile. "I've brought Atton Rand
with me, and everyone else who traveled with us aboard the Ebon
Hawk. Mira, Mandalore, Visas Marr, the Disciple. The only ones
who aren't here are Bao-Dur and the droids, who are guarding the
Mass Shadow Generator. I could give the order to activate it again
and end this fight before it starts, but then we all would perish. I don't
want to cause any more wounds in the Force than I already have.
"Kreia...my Darth Traya...why have you done this to me? To us?"
Mandalore walked up behind the Exile, heaving up his heavy Mandalorian Repeater into both hands. He turned and looked at Darth Traya. He spoke in a muffled, rusty voice. "The Girl asked you a question."
Darth Treya walked closer to Tysy. "You fell to the dark side once too. But you disgustingly turned back. Now look at you. You are traveling around with a drunk pazaak player and a metal-armored young brat who can't keep his mouth shut. I betrayed you for my own good!"
"For your own good? I suppose you would think that, Traya, considering
you're a Sith Lord, and you believe that only the strong must survive.
But tell me. Is my Atton--" and here she gestured to the young Jedi
Sentinel--"drunk now, or is he in full control of his senses? You see
the anger in his eyes. He knows full well what he's doing, like you.
"As for Mandalore, he believes in forceful action, not so many words.
He could empty his whole Repeater in a hail of energy bullets right now,
but he hasn't yet. He wants to hear your reasoning. Traya--why choose me?"
He tightened his grip on his gun, smiling slightly under his mask as he listened to their conversation.
Kreia lifted her hand and Mandalore's gun flew up in the air and flew far away. " If this smart-mouth dosen't stop annoying me, I'll do that to you. Well anyways, I chose you because I could sense.. Oh never mind. You shouldn't know it.."
(( GOD ^&*$#...might have to kill myself now..Thanks Arvik....))
Mandalore growled and pulled out a Mandalorian Heavy blaster and twirled it on his right finger. "Do that again you cryptic old woman and you'll have a hold burnt between your eyes.." He said, gripping the gun hard, so it won't fly away.
"Well - you don't get drunk, if you drink ujma juice in the right..." Atton mumbled, and moved closer to Tysy.
"You are actually surrounded now, woman. We can defeat you. So begin to talk, woman".
Kreia scoffed. "My name is not woman it is Darth Traya. And I bet neither of you could last 3 minutes without a weopon."
Tysy's gaze turned cold. "Try us. Our weapons may be our fighting tools,
but they're only tools. We've also been trained to duel without them."
Softening her heart a bit, the Jedi Exile asked Darth Traya, "What should
I not know, Traya? What could you sense in me that you will not tell me?"
Mandalore mumbled something along the lines of 'trained to kill, not duel'.
"Sorry, Mandalore," apologized Tysy, with a sheepish grin. "Charge!"
She held her silver saberstaff close to her, ready to attack Traya
if she needed to. The Sith Lord seemed unwilling to answer her
questions, which was no surprise. However, if this was the only way...
Mandalore smirked underneath his mask and withdrew his other Mandalorian heavy blaster. He twirled both of them and held them out forward, aiming at Darth Traya. (Don't knock them away again.. that was just.. stupid)
"OKAY I'LL TELL" Traya didn't want to start any fights. "You were the only one who could help me in my conquest of the force. You had a special.. err... power, should I say."
"Power? You mean my ability to cause 'echoes', or wounds in the Force?
First of all, I had no idea I could do that until you showed me I could.
Second of all, now that I realize what I was doing, I don't want to do
it anymore. If I kill the Force, I will kill the entire galaxy! All life will be
wiped out, and I have no desire to repeat what I did at Malachor V,
times one million!" Tysy paused for a moment, considering her words.
"What do you have against the Force, Traya? Why do you want to destroy it?"
((Tsy, I would be so happy if you'd join my 'Hard Times' role play.. it needs some characters, needs at least one female, you'd be perfect.Oh, Arvik's invited too.. heh, well, anyone can join..))
Mandalore lowered his pistols, scoffing a little at not being able to fire a the cryptic witch.
"The force." Kreia said. "Is a very powerful thing. You do not know yet what destroying it can do. Yes it will kill many poeople but all that power will belong to me! Isn't that better than just a few million people's lives saved. They have no difference to me" Kreia stepped right in front of Tysy. "Imagine this. All the force in the galaxy in one person. She would be unstoppable! I would control the force, which means I would control all!
"You would control all?" asked Tysy. "By default, that means you would control
me as well. And Atton here, and Visas, and Mandalore. I may be wrong, but I
don't think they would like that. What would you do with us after you controlled
the Force? I suppose we'd be of no further use to you, so then you'd terminate...
"This means that either we must strike you down, or you'll do the same to us.
Right?" Tysy stepped backward, oddly unsure. "Something tells me that at least
in my case, I'd be wrong. What would you have me do after you'd won, Traya?"
Mandalore grinned. "Finally..." He said to himself, moving his index finger to the trigger.
"No..." Kreia replied. "I would'nt have you all killed.... Okay.. Maybe Atton. But everyone else can serve as my private army!"
"Why do all wants to kill me?" mumbled Atton. He stared at Exile, and did actually send a little smile. "But - Kreia - how should we end this?"
"We defeate the evil, that's how it'll end," Sais Vasis as she appeared from one of the gaint pillars that surronded them "I'd rather die than become a minion of a egoistic old witch who beleives she alone can controll the force."
"I agree," whispered the Exile, "but as for defeating Traya...she is beyond weapon
damage now. Even Force damage won't do much to her, because her wisdom
is very great. We must beat Traya in the only way that can truly affect her--
her thinking. If we weaken her arguments, prove her wrong, then her link to
the Force might diminish. Let's try it, and see if it will work. I'll go first.
"Before I tell you whether I'll join your army," announced Tysyacha, a
determined look on her face, "I'd like to know why you turned from the Jedi.
You weren't a Sith from the beginning. You were once Light, like me."
"I like my plan. It makes sence," Visas cleared her throat "So you think fighting wouldn't help. If only that was the same way around for her."
Visas took in a deep breath and made an attempt to help the exile think up another plan. "Listen Tysy, I can see where your plan might lead to her downfall but she'll soon release that and make the first move. You need a better plan."
"What would you suggest, Visas?" asked Tysy. "A sudden, direct charge?"
He grinned to himself, watching the two girls chatter away. He walked past them and stopped about 10 feet from Traya. "Do you really think that if you control the Force, all problems will be solved? That all will be fine and controlled by the Sith?" He sighed a little " If you control the Force, that means you have to be everyone, or kill everyone in the Galaxy, take their souls, their own thoughts, their lives. The Force flows through everyone to some extent. It would be impossible to control the Force by yourself alone, and trying to will kill you, or whatever is left of yourself. Think about it, you can try to say you're all powerful, but you must have a power trip going on." He shook his head. "Get your facts straight, it's pretty pathetic to be outspoken by a Mandalorian, you MUST be getting old..." ((There.. that oughta hit something...))
(falilure)"You are the pathetic one." Traya said. "First of all, I wouldn't acheive it by myself. I wouldn't have to. And as for you, you're just a pathetic little Mandalorian who thinks that just because he has a layer of armor on he can destroy anything... You do not know the force, young child."
Tysy turned away from Visas. "Traya? Why did you turn from the Jedi? I hear
it was because the Council--Master Vrook, Master Vandar, and Master Dorak--
believed you to be responsible for Revan turning to the Dark Side. Is this true,
or is it just a rumor that I've heard in my travels throughout the galaxy?
"I find it hard to believe that you had this plan to control and kill the Force
from the very beginning. The Masters never would have trained you if that
were true. What made you decide that the Jedi were not only wrong, but
all deserved to die?" Horrified, she continued, "You gave that order...long ago!"
Mandalore shrugged. "I've killed many, many Jedi in my life. Along with many Sith. I know enough of it to know that you need more lessons. Most of those Jedi I killed, I heard thier cries of death, the Sith's last call of revenge on me. One layer of armor? It's stood up all my life, through two wars, and it might just survive another one, if need be."
(success) "I...I..don't know. It's just that they... ALL DESERVE TO DIE!!! JUST LIKE YOU AND THE REST OF THE JEDI!" Kreia turned and used force scream on Mandalore. He flew back on the ground and got back up. Then Kreia turned and zapped Tysy with force lightning. Traya dodged it with her saber. "Wait..." Traya said, just as mandalore got ready to shoot her right between the eyes. "I..I..I'm sorry.. I honestly am. Please help me get back to the light. Please!"
Tysy gritted her teeth in pain. Being hit with Force Lightning, even at low
strength, was not her idea of fun. She felt steam rising off of her body, and
she howled a desperate cry to Mandalore. "Don't believe her! She's trying to
trick us! If she really wanted to return to the light, she would let us go!"
((TSHA SHA! -dances a little-))
Mandalore gritted his teeth, lowering his blaster. "No.. I.. I think she might want to.." He walked a bit closer to the Exile. "Test her.. if not, it will be a quick death.."
She don't deserve to life! She is still dark side!" Atton shouted. He took a step closer to Exile. "I agree with Exile" he mumbled.
The Exile stepped forward. "If you did turn back to the light," Tysy explained,
"you would have to stand trial. You may have killed three powerful Jedi Masters
in a single stroke, but Master Atris is still alive. That's right. I spared her after
defeating her in a grueling lightsaber duel. She would judge you, and I
doubt she would grant you the same mercy that I'm granting you, Traya.
"After Atris found you guilty of the murders of Master Vrook, Master Kavar,
and Master Zez-Kai-Ell, she would also condemn you for giving the order
to exterminate all Jedi, long ago. You would spend the rest of your days
in a Force Cage upon the polar surface of Telos, with Atris as your guard.
"This is why I know you don't truly wish to turn back to the light. I faced
judgment for the thousands I killed, but I've used the Force in a kind way
to atone for it. You, however, are still a Sith Lord, and scorn judgment."
Mandalore raised an eyebrow under his mask. "Kind of harsh.. but I agree, if that's what her future holds, I wouldn't want to go back.." He blinked and shut up, just remembering what they were trying to do.
"Okay... Take me to Atris at Telos..." Traya said But secretly she whispered into a radio. "She's at Telos. Strike immediately..." (YOU DON'T KNOW THAT)
He heard a little buzzing noise but passed it off as an insect. "Wait.. this was too easy..." He looked around a little, then at the Exile. "I don't think we.. should do this.." He looked at the ground, then the Exile again. "Lets keep her here.. we don't know what she'll do to Atris and the others once she arrives..."
Tysy turned to Traya. "I still don't trust you, especially after you betrayed us.
What would you have done if I had turned to the Dark Side? The same thing,
most likely, considering that a Sith master and apprentice must always fight
each other for supremacy. Master Atris has visited with you. She was the one
who warned me about your true idenity. Do you think she'll be foolish enough
to remain at Telos once we're done with our confrontation here?
"I loved you as a Master and teacher. I respected and trusted you. This
has been my fortune, but now it could be my downfall. Our downfall,
if we don't stop you. Visas, you have my permission to use all of the Dark
Side Force powers you know. I know them, too, though they cost me a
dire penalty!" She cast Plague upon Traya, hoping it would take hold.
Mandalore widened his eyes slightly and aimed his Mandalorian pistols forward, letting out a barrage of bullets towards Traya within seconds, overheating the pistols quickly. For anyone other than a Jedi, it would be complete overkill.
Suddenly, Kreia lifted up her hand and the bullets stopped and headed straight for Mandalore. Mandalore was out cold. Kreia turned to Tysy. She pulled out her lightsaber. She put her lightsaber up in the air. "From this day on, this will be known as 'order 66: exterminate all Jedis'" She sliced her lightsaber through the air just missing Tysy. She slashed again, and Tysy blocked it. Traya put her hand up and used force choke on Tysy and threw her off in the distance. Suddenly, thousands of Sith Assassins darted across the secene and charged at Tysy. Kreia turned to Atton. "Ever since we met I've been waiting for your death." she took out her lightsaber and took a deep slash. It cut Atton's face and it seemed he was dead. "And Visas.." Darth Traya started. "You still have evil in your heart. will you abandon this fool and join me, your life is in my hands!"
Tysy reacted, without thinking. As the dozens upon dozens of dark-clad Sith
Assassins bore down upon her, the Exile closed her eyes and cast a modified
form of Stasis upon herself. While trapped within this powerful Force barrier,
Tysy could not move, but she could use her Battle Meditation to rally her
comrades. Only an arm like Bao-Dur's could break the Stasis, or else the
most powerful lightsaber the galaxy had ever known.
Did Traya have such a weapon? By the Force! Tysy hoped and prayed not...
She sent out a silent message to Visas: No! She may sound like she's
right, but what will stop her from slaughtering you once all the rest of us
are dead? She may say that you'll be her loyal apprentice, but Traya is
not Bastila. She knows nothing of loyalty, only deception and betrayal!
If you wish to see me die, then kill me now. I'd rather die by your hand,
Visas Marr, than by the hands of these mindless Sith thugs...
You've seen me for who I truly am. Let me live or die because of that alone!
Atton falls to the ground, while taking his his hand to the slash from the lightsaber. He still lives - but he is losing more and more blood.
Traya shot a glare at Visas. "Join me woman! Your life is in my hands!"
Visas looked at Tysy and replied to her through the force You think I'll sink that low and join her? You trained me better than that.
"They say betrayal is a greatest form of weakness. Betryal, war and death. It's all the sith know. It's reason they're forced to remain in shadows and why there so close to destruction" Visas pointed her lightsaber at Traya "I'll never join one as weak and cowardly as you."
Do you still wish to follow your talking plan or shall we strike now?She asked the exile
(success) "AHHH?" The Sith Lord shouted. "What is..Ahk..Happening?" She started choking Visas. "I'm not down yet.." She shouted and Visas flew up into the air. "How can you say that I am weak? Look at your surroundings!" There was Tysy, under ruthless attack. Atton was on the ground. Mandalore was struggling to get up. Visas herself was fighting to survive, losing her breath.
Visas broke free from the force choke "You are a fool. You beleive you alone can controll the galaxy. Open your eyes! The galaxy is too big!" Visas used force storm against Traya "Kiera, send your assassins away! Even out the fight. Prove to me your not a coward!" She ordered.
Tysy felt like a fly being cornered by a thousand spiders. So far, her auto-Stasis
barrier seemed to be working, but even a Jedi as powerful as herself couldn't
make it last forever. She sent another message to Visas through the Force,
cheering her on. Humbly, Tysy admitted to herself that she had rather
underestimated her Padawan. Darth Traya was indeed wrong--dead wrong.
One more time, Visas. Weaken her arguments one more time. THEN we
rip her apart. My barrier's weakening--help me, and cast Stasis Field upon
all these thugs! That way I can let down my guard and cut them down!
Kreia held up her hand. "I can take you on anyways..." SHe said. Traya walked over to Tysy, who was still laying on the ground. Traya extended her lightsaber. "You have one more chance, Tysy. Will you join me?"
"Tysy...don't do it...help..me" he saied with much trouble. He was loosing a scary amount of blood. He woulden't hold for long without help.
Visas used force storm on the spiders that conered Tysy, ripping alot of them apart and she used stasis field on the rest. "Quick master, help Atton and Mandalor!"
