the icon or rather "favicon" is stored in your temporary internet cache.. if you've cleaned/purged it recently, then it lost the icon as well..

Does your normal IE icon look the same.. or does it still have the "E" with the swirl?

You can 'reset' it or make it so it doesn't change by right-clicking the bookmark link, choose "Properties" and then choose the "change icon" function...

If the icon isn't present here, choose "Browse" and browse to c:WINDOWS/system32/shell32.dll and then choose the icon of your preference.

Make sure you have "Libraries" selected in the "Files of type" field..

It has a "E" with the swirl. And where is the bookmark link i right click on?Good question.. I use Firefox :xp:
should be in your favorites, if not, you can make one..

However I just now noticed that the link your browser is pointing to is LF's.. which has it's own "favicon" (which probably got nuked)...

Make a "favorite" (bookmark) to LucasForums, then change it's icon to the included attached file (unzip it first) in this post ;)

You could always just get firefox (http://www.spreadfirefox.com/?q=affiliates&id=144955&t=72). Then you wouldn't have any of these silly IE problems, plus your machine would be a lot safer.

No, its not in favorites, and its doing this for all sites, i just want the regular "e" icon back....

p.s Here is something i noticed, see in favorites ow it shows the internet icon, it should do the same in the address bar.

Actually, when you visit LucasForums, the LucasForums icon should display at first in the address bar, not the IE icon.

That doesn't help you, I know, I'm just saying. ;)

I have no idea why it's not displaying an icon (except the "Can't recognise what file/page this is" icon).
