Good day all.

I believe corvettes across the board are to powerful. They are relatively small ships and it takes forever to kill the SOB's playing as empire. If an ISD grabs one of these little fellows it should be over in about 60 seconds. My ISD's bring down capital ships faster then they do corvettes. I understand there is a size thing to consider but it should not have such a large impact. They are way to effective at killing fighters and bombers for both sides. Primary fighter defense should be your fighters that are the fastest and most mobile units on the board, or at least they should be.

Another question I had do the ship stats change with the difficulty levels? IMHO they shouldn't a ship is a ship and has it's stats no matter what difficulty your at. A VSD should not be less effective a hard then it is at easy. I just noticed that it appears that way when you ratchet up the difficulty.

I think with higher difficulty the computer has a damage multiplier that it gets for all attacks, so it seems like your ships have different stats but really the computer just does a little more damage.
