Why dont you make the empire the Galatic federation being the dominant force trying to destroy the resourceful space pirates. It would be a mod because the sides are so similar. Add some new units and weapons with new skins and you could have a dynamite mod. :smash:
Would be a cool idea, but Metroid universe is made more to fit action/adventure/platformer games
