It says that it includes footage never seen in the game, but it looks to me like all of it was in the game at some point. Am I missing something, or what?

I can't remember the trailer too well, but pretty much the part that you see in the little thumbnail there, where Guybrush is calling out, I think to Elaine, that was never in the actual game.

You should play MI 1+2 as well. If you use ScummVM (
http://www.scummvm.org) and choose a good graphics mode, it will look okay to hires spoiled eyes, too.
If I remember rightly, LeChuck looked different as well. I think he looked a bit better... but Guybrush's wave was "too goofy" IIRC, which is fair enough.
