Help! I have printed out your instrutions on installing new craft. Ive done every thing you have said to do....But the ship does not appear in the game..To be more specific it is not listed in the game , like in the fighters colum. What have i done wrong any thoughts ...... Anyone?

Hmmmm, well a couple of things that would make it not show up in the list are

1) Ship not enabled in BHE, make sure the slot is enabled. You need to load section Enable Ships and goto the ID number for slot you are adding the new ship in. If it says 2 change it to 3.

2) Make sure SHIPLIST.TXT says name_of_ship,FIGHTER,KNOWN,FLYABLE,SKIRMISH, or it wont show up.

I'm pretty sure I didn't leave anything out.

3) Oh another thing is, is it set to the right Ship Type in BHE, though if you are adding a fighter to one of the Reserved Fighter slots that should be set as defailt.

4) Possibly part 16, Species Pointer, could be having an effect - try changing the data to match the ID number of the slot you are using, by default they are 1 less than the slot you are using (eg. ID 33 = 32). If you have already done this try changing it back to the default, as I said I'm unsure of this part.
