A HP computer. I have a HP pavilion 743c. I hear that you can't upgrade the graphic card. Is this true? I just ran a Warhammer check for my PC and my card won't cut it.
If you can post your system specs. Who told you that you can't upgrade?
DMUK
you can get a pci video card for that model..
but be shure its not a PCIe (pci express) cause that board doesnt support that. you need a good old pci card.

Never mind. But what's a cheap but good card out there. And can I get it from best buy?

I only found one card at best buy that your motherboard would support, if it needs a PCI graphics card, but it is 102.99.

You could also buy a card online, as many times it is cheaper in such an instance. I would recommend a site like newegg.com
In fact here is the exact same card, but its only $62 + shipping.

Problem with HP and Dell home/office machines, they dont want you to upgrade, they want you to buy a new one, so they void your warrenty if you open it, dont allow you to put in new CPUs (we tried at work on a 3ghz pentium 4) its all very naughty :( Im not even sure if there 'gaming' models let you upgrade.
