Hey all,

I tried searching for this elsewhere, but I couldn't find anything :(

Here's the long version: I'm trying to modify the F model so that we no longer have to look at big, bulky pockets on the abdomen. Wanting to start with the model that was most likely to give me problems, I exported Bao-Dur's F model, spun it through mdlops, and imported it into max.

I then selected and collapsed the applicable verts, and moved them around so that the model looked good. I did what I need to with the uvmap and texture and all in all, I'm pretty pleased with the results. However...

After exporting the model and spinning it through mdlops the other way, I get into the game and find that anims for B-D's arm are gone.

Anyone have any sagely advice?

EDIT: It just occured to me that B-D's arm is an emitter and I remember that mdlops has a hard time with those. I'm going to try using Replacer and see if that does the trick.

Unfortunately mdlops can't compile the emitters or something gets lost on import. So right now you won't be able to compile that model and still retain the working emitters.

It sucks I know, he would have had jedi robes if that wasn't a problem.

But look at it this way, Bao-Dur is a tech specialist so maybe he has those pockets filled with all sorts of usefull stuff. ;)
