I just dowloaded the 17.6 SSd thing an idon't know how to get it into the game. Can anyone help?

Is incredible!, a lot of people still making the some question forever!!!, XWA still making gold?.
Don't worry, is very difficult, copy it to your flightmodels dir and use the some name of the old one or just overwrite it, check the readme for more info.
