Anybody have any advice on this? I've tried it in the B-wing, but I'm not crazy about the manuerverability, and there's really no way to knock out the ISD before it tractors the CRV.

Could you be a little more informative to what mission it is

NO!!! DON'T TAKE OUT THE AVENGER BEFORE IT DOCKS!!! there's a bug that'll never cause the mission to finish if you do. Let the Avenger dock, then escort the E-Pod to the Mercury, and then to the Independance.

This is the Mercury mission, right?

Yes, it's the Mercury, and I got it done. Basically, you really have to resist the urge to go dogfighting and stay near the escape pod. Otherwise, while you're off dodging turbolaser fire, they're picking the pod apart. Anybody notice how Imperial pilots are quite adept at getting you to chase them right into the firing arcs of their home-ship's turbolasers? Boy is that fun....

You mean getting enemy pilots into your capship's firing arc? Yeah, it's funny. Though I'm guessing that it's an Imp pilot's only real way to live unless he's in an Advanced, Gunboat, Missile Boat, or Defender.
