KOTOR Few movies lightsaber hilts

Some time ago I have made those hilts as request for TSL and after other request I make all aviable for KOTOr either.
Will be easy to recognize most of those.
Nothing special on this since are just replacement for lightsabers 1=>7 and doublebladed red lightsaber (2)

Install:
Unpack files in override dir.

Hey Flash,

I found something you may want to fix...

The w_lghtsbr_002.mdx file is spelled "w_lghtsbr_002`.mdx"

You may want to fix that. Take care, bud.

Now I remember, Look like but not the same.

About mdx... that's bad. I use to rename files by adding "`" chr in order to keep originals as back-up. That means I put in pack mdx files from another model and what is even worse, red lightsaber does not work. I will fix that in 12h from now. Sorry for inconvenients.

All of the sabers work- but they pretend to be on after you enter a new area or a cutscene happens, to put it simply we've got the Cyan saber error affecting all of the other sabers

Ignore that file. It's part of another model and reach in pack by my mistake. The good mdx file is there anyway.

To fix that
After renaming the blade texture in the renamer of mdlops, hex edit each .mdl in the first few lines you should see the w_lightsbr### the models aurora base. Change it to that of your current model if it’s 077 then replace 010 or whatever aqua is to 077 it’s a conflict of entering a new area the game appears to read the models aurora base number causing the original blade to show. Hope this helps, we had to do this on every hilt in the usm it took a while.

No, they replace default lightsabers hilt and red doublelightsaber.

Is this the right thread for Anakin's epIII hilt? Well since it's Oldflash work...

Man this hilt rocks, plus it's for the cyan saber cool. The shape and size looks nice and the details are perfect. In my book this wins it all!

hah well done again flash. i was going to ask for anakin's saber for mantle of the force color but some1 beaten me to it lol.

Edit: it seems that when new level loads blade shows up like saber was ignited, i quess it'll need blade fix like previous sambers you made.

Let's not make big deal from that. Really bad was lightsabers. I mean, to use same chair leg for all class of lightsaber in a game with jedi and sith that was really cruel. But thanks to wonderful people's from Holowan Labs that problem is ended.

Sorry if this old thread is bumped but I just downloaded the mod and wanted to know how it works? Do I have to start a new game to use it or just keep going with my old game and find the lightsabers? Thanx

Edit: Also, Im trying to make it that so my saber is like Count Dookus with the curved spike at the end. What files do I need to extract just to make it that way? Because I extracted all the files and my saber is like palpatines now?

I believe heiff or someone like that make a few and posted em' over at PCgameMODS. They are also the standard blue lightsaber in the holowan plugin for TSL. ;)

Those are just replacement for lightsabers 1=>7 and doublebladed red lightsaber (2)
That means all those hilts replace original hilts for blue, green, red, red long blade (malak's saber / Count Dooku), purple and doublebladed red saber.
Count Dooku's lightsaber (model #6) is now Malak's lightsaber. For this one you must use cheatcode giveitem g_w_lghtsbr06 For all others just change color crystal at workbench.
