Was there any planned for release? I hadn't heard of any, but I am a bit out of the BF2 loop...

I can only hope...BF1 there was ...and although it had a slight learning curve and was a bit buggy it proved to provide a lot of excellent user made maps... which in the end makes the game's longevity last much longer than console-based versions. ... it's really the only reason I bought it for the PC, I bought two copies for my networked PS2's :-) ...beer, bong, friends and ps2 nothing better :-)

woah I've gotta come here more often, I totally look the oposite of a newb HUGE POST COUNT :D

EDIT: has anyone tried using the bf1 editor? I've never used it and don't know what it is or how to use it, though from screens I've found it looks pretty rough, any chance bf2 editor will be brush based? Im just so used to the q3 engine :(

I'm been pressing F5 and watching this screen, non-stop, for 2 and a 1/2 months...and ....yup it's out!!!! Yeah!

So anyone know why thebfbuilders need a screen name and country to email you a map?
