I dont know a thing about modding but would it be possible to give Hk-47 a bounty hunting option which would be accessable through clicking on him (once he was repaired, that itself could be a quest) with bounties from across the galaxy and use Hk to hunt these bounties down solo. These could be republic, sith, or other. Your light/dark side scale could be affected by who you hunt bounties for. Somthing a bit like the bounty hunter game that came out a few years ago.
Just an idea for anyone who has the time and knowledge.

Maybe get some missions from the hutts for DS points...

Though that sounds a bit like the genoharadan quests already in-game (I LOVED those!!)
