Every time I try to start up Jedi Outcast singleplayer it takes me to the black screen with the yellow text and freezes with this message:

ERROR: filename length > MAX_QPATH ( strlen(Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast/GameData/base/levelshots/) = 78)

I looked in the base folder, but there's no file and no folder with the name 'levelshots' so I tried to create one, but that didn't help either. I am completely unable to load up the single player, although multi-player seemed to work fine.

I also tried reinstalling Jedi Outcast, but that didn't help.

well im slightly stumped, you could try reinstalling it to a shorter path, like

C:/Jedi Outcast/Gamedata

or w/e

Must have something to do with the levelshots in the game's PK3s...
