Poor fella, he just lacked the articulation in his question. Yes, apparently there's "Space Troopers" that have jet packs, magnetic boots and fusion cutters, etc, for boarding actions and can hop onto capital ships. It's a purely EU creation and I don't recall what books they're in, possibly the Zahn books though. Good luck!

if that is indeed what he is asking about, they were used by Thrawn in TTT and part of KJAs Jedi Academy Trilogy of course...but originally appeared in an RPG Imperial sourcebook in 1989.
