I'm planning to write another roleplay in which my posts are
both narrative-style and incorporate aspects of the KOTOR
games like stats, gaining Light Side and Dark Side points, etc.
This RPG takes place about 8 years after my KOTOR IV story,
"The Lawful Sith." In it, I first wake up in a medical bay in the
Jedi academy upon Coruscant. The Jedi have decided to train
me after I first become Force Sensitive. They want me and my
companions to find the source of a "Force plague" that preys
upon all Force Sensitives, even the Sith. This plague is insidious,
using the power of the Force to bend one's will to a dark Master's.
Where did it come from, and what is the proper treatment or cure?
There are 3 things that will be dramatically different this time:
1. I will attempt to form much deeper relationships with the other
characters than I have in the past. Thus, there can only be 4
more people aboard my eventual ship besides me. That way,
I can keep everyone straight!!! :)
2. I will not allow one-line posts in this new thread. They may
be fun to write and quick to post, but they're short on depth.
3. In this, I will be a Padawan and a Knight, but never a Master.
Who will be the other 4 with me? Based on my "Perfect Party Roster"
post, I'd love to have...
--A Wookiee (can be either gender, because I love Wookiees!)
--A Mandalorian male (name NOT "Mandalore") with whom I fall in love
--A female Twi-lek who either helps me stay Light Side or go Dark Side
--A Yoda-like figure, either male or female. I wish Vandar was recruitable!
As before, there will be 3 primary rules:
1. No one-line posts, and if you catch me doing this, you can scold me. :)
2. No killing off other people's characters without their permission.
3. No invincibles, but "ghosts" permitted. Dearly Departed Jedi/Sith
may be included to guide the PC's. Can be minor to major characters.
Would anyone like to help me make up our crew of 5?

Note: The Wookiee is like Zaalbaar, Hanharr, or Chewbacca. Not Force-
Sensitive, but here's the upside: If any Force Sensitives aboardship
become ill with the Plague (and it WILL happen to me,) then who will
be able to care for them? 4 characters down with no pilot = *CRASH*!

A BRIEF HISTORY OF WHAT HAPPENS ANCESTRY-WISE BEFORE KOTOR V (not VI):
Tysyacha, also known as Darth Dvukhsotnaya, married Dark Lord Elron, a Sith Lord.
Together, they had twin sons, whom Tysyacha named Zoltan and Kilian.
The brothers grew up together, but these identical twins were not the same.
Zoltan took after his mother, moderately strong in both combat and the Force,
but Kilian took after a darker legend...Darth Revan. Fearing Kilian's future power,
a self-righteous Jedi Master overtested him. Kilian thus failed his training, but
he was kept as a servant aboard Coruscant in order to help the Jedi Council.
Content with his humble role for now, Kilian married Yaxha (yuh-SHAH), a
dancing girl who complemented the Twi-lek ensemble upon Coruscant in one
of its many cantinas. The happy couple soon was gifted with the birth of
little Tysy (rhymes with "greasy"), named for her exiled grandmother.
At the time of "The Force Plague", Tysy is 18 years old. Kilian has secretly
been teaching her everything he knows about the Force, but her combat
skills are even worse than those of Vogga the Hutt! *LOL*

Umm...I don't know about you, but a little, 3 1/2 foot tall little green guy doesn't exactly appeal as a Dark Lord who's bent on either killing or converting every Jedi and Sith, plus founding the secret society of what will later (Episode XX referance again) be called the Nihilites to me. Somehow, I don't think I spelled that right...anyway...

Now, history...
Verack was discovered to be Force Sensetive at an extremly young age. The Jedi took him in for training, and he was a star pupil. However, as part of his specialized trials, he and a group of four other hopefuls were sent off on a simple mission in the Outer Rim. No one is sure what happened, but Verack was seperated from the others during the mission. The other three returned without him. Since then, Verack has been thought dead by all that knew him...until now.

Born on Taris but was away as one of Davik Kang's More then capable assasins, he was taken into Sith custody on his return and from that time until Malak's death at the hands of Revan had been tortured for information he did not have. Eventually freeing himself and getting his hands on a stealth generator after Revan's escape he escaped during the commotion on an escape pod and landed on the planet of Manaan where he continued his mercenary ways.
When the story begins he had just assasinated his target on Coruscant and returned to find his ship had been scrapped for parts. As you can undertstand he's quite pissed off so forgive me if I have him take a shot at you when you meet :smash:

play the game and constitution determines the majority of your health, a low constitution character better be a good dodger or he'd get pounded into pieces in a few shots... trust me... i got killed by a mining droid with 8 con T_T
EDIT: Meaning me getting a lucky shot at your Yoda dude would be the equivelant of my Mandy Candy being blown up
Ok, so when I played KOTOR, I didn't exactly pay attention to how all that stuff worked... can somebody give me a basic overview of attributes, skills, feats, and stuff like that?
Strength determines how much damage you cause, Dexterity determines how hard you are to hit, Constitution determines how many vitality points you have and/or gain, Intelligence determines how many skill points you get to spend at level up, Wisdom determines what the chance is that your force powers will work, and Charisma gives you bonuses on your persuade skill.
As for the skills, Computer Use determines how many spikes you have to use in slicing a computer (the higher it is, the less spikes you have to use), Security is used for opening locked doors and footlockers, Persuade is obvious, Repair is like Comp. Use but is used for using less parts on repairing droids (I think that this has something to do with HK, to), Treat Injury determines how much Vitality points you regain when you use a medpack, Awareness determines if you can see cloaked enemies or mines, Demolitions deals with setting and recovering mines, and Stealth is used for the cloaking field generator. As for KotOR II, the skills are also used for constructing items.

Also there is Sith Master, Sith Marauder and Sith assassins + jedi watchman, jedi master and jedi weapon masters
