"Is there anything I can do? With my knowlage of the Force, its more like what can't I do."

Orlov looked taken aback, knowing his plan had backfired. He turned to the captain.
"You can't seriously be considering bringing him on the ship!"

The captain shrugged. "You brought this on us, now you deal with it." He turned back to Elron "So you have no experience with ships, do ya?"

"Um...that's a no. Though, looking at the way you guys seem to fight, I think you could use and extra gun. Or a saber for that matter."

"Kid, you haven't seen us fight."

The captain nodded.

"All right. You can come along. But let's make this clear, you try to pull anything, and I mean anything" He gestured at 'Vales' "And you're going to find yourself on the wrong side of the airlock. Is that clear?"

"Crystal, sir!" Elron said, throwing a mocking salute, "Anything for the almighty captain!"

"Now give us the part and get your ass on the ship. Things could get very unfriendly in this system soon."

"Schutta," Elron whispered as he went by, slapping the part down in the captain's outstretched hand, and proceeded past him. Up the stairs and right up to the ship. Elron whacked the loading ramp several times before shouting, "Hey! Dunderheads! Open up!"

A small hatch on the ramp opened up, and the barrel of a blaster rifle came out of it.

The captain said "It's okay, Burne. Let him in."

The hatch closed and the ramp slowly opened back up. Standing at the top was Burne, blaster in hand, glaring at Elron

"Oh you spacer types are always so polite." Elron said sarcastically. He moved up the ramp, stopping in front of Burne, he said, "Look, Bantha-breath, I'm joining up with your little group of trigger-happy smugglers. At least for now. You don't like it? Well, then that's too damn bad."


From ashes and fire shall be awoken...

Burne muttered a curse at Elron, and the captain approached him.
"Get this to Kayla, and tell her. I'll give him the tour of the ship."

Zaalbacca and Roarboar fly around in space. "Commentary: What do you want me to do master? asked HK-47. "1. Shut up. 2. Stay still. 3. Do what I say." Roarboar said."Response: OK, master." Says HK-47."I'm detecting a ship and a powerful force aura. I also sense that dark jedi who thinks he is the most powerful jedi ever." Zaalbacca says immidately. "HK, get into the turret and shoot that ship." Roarboar says. "Commentary: On my way master." HK says." You get in to Roarboar." Zaalbacca says. The Undertaker starts firing upon the Fable.

As Elron and the Captain continued along one of the ship's hallways, the ship gave a stong lurch. Elron stummbled as the Captain was tossed against a wall.
"Uh-oh." he said as an alarm went off, "That can't be good."

Tysyacha, aboard Alyssa's ship, felt confused. The owner seemed to have
taken the time to step out of the airlock and take a very long space-piddle,
even though there were highly advanced chemical toilets aboard the vessel.
Where was Alyssa? Syscha wanted to tell her more about the Nihilites, or else
to find out more from her new mentor about becoming stronger in the Force.

((Heh... the ship is a two seat fighter and Alyssa should be sitting right in front of you, waiting for you to confirm that you really want to go to Yavin IV :p ))

Alyssa suddenly tapped Tysyacha on the shoulder. "Ready?" she asked again.

"Oh, yes, yes!", the girl cried, realizing that she had been deeply entranced
with visions of the other ship...the crew and the captain, and the strange
dark man aboard. What was happening now, and who would gain the advantage?

Alyssa grinned. "Did you pay attention to any of my ramblings about the ship and..." She chuckled. "Oh, never mind." She activated the hyperspace ring and the little ship sped away.

Even though hyperspace was one of the best technologies available
for carrying space explorers from Point A to Point B in the fastest
possible manner, it still allowed plenty of 'downtime,' as the common
folk sometimes called it. Tysyacha smiled ruefully and bowed her head.

"I'm sorry," she apologized quickly. "For some odd reason, I thought I
was aboard another ship for a moment, and the captain and crew were
basically ignoring me! Now that I'm both physically and mentally aboard
THIS vessel, can you tell me about the Jedi Order? Is there a Council
anymore? I hear tales of a Jedi Council, but does such a thing exist now?"

The captain cursed in huttese, and took out his comlink
"KAYLA! That part installed yet?"
"Gonna need some more time captain"
"Time we don't have. You keep working on that, everyone else battle stations." He gave a grin to Elron. "Time to show us what you're made of. Get to the turret and start firing."
The captain started headed toward the cockpit, and he heard the man ask where the turret was.
"If you can't find it, get off my ship." Yelled the captain. He arrived at the cockpit and spoke to wash.
"Can you shake them off?"
"It's gonna take some work captain. There's nowhere to hide."
"Do whatever it takes."

"This is Zaalbacca and Roarboar of the The Undertaker." Zaalbacca said to the ship using the communications system."Surrender immidately and we will tow you to a Republic space station where we will take you in for judgement from the jedi council." Roarboar says.

"On what charges?!" Demanded Reynolds.

"And that explains why you ignored me," Alyssa said good-naturedly. "As for the Jedi Order... you're not talking to the most knowledgeable person in the galaxy... my master wasn't truly Jedi, though I myself am considered one... but that's a long story for another time."

"Yes, there is still a Council," she went on. "But it's a divided council. Luke Skywalker, Kyle Katarn, Caitlin Bryce, Erica West, and Nadira DelCarr make up what is known as the Original Council. They are the ones with a less strict approach to the Jedi Order. The others are called the High Council by nearly everybody, but the Original Council has begun to call them the Bureaucratic Council... and that title has trickled down into the mouths of younger Jedi as well... but they usually call the two councils the OC and the BC."

"The BC is by far the larger of the two councils," Alyssa told her companion. "So my master and her friends, the Sith Hunters are not quite as welcome on Yavin IV as they used to be... but have you heard of the Sith Hunters?" She shook her head. "Never mind that... we'll get into that story later." She smiled. "Anything else you'd like to know about?"

"On the charges that there is a dark jedi aboard." Roarboar says. "What is your answer?" Zaalbacca asked.

"My goddamn answer is that I don't remember it being against the law to have stowaways."

"Yes," said Tysyacha, and she stretched out her soft, pale hands
for Alyssa to take. "Tell me. I must know how strong I am in the
Force now, because I don't want to waste time on possible--
training--if there is no way I can be expected to complete all of it."

Syscha meant Jedi training, and Alyssa probably knew that her young
passenger meant Jedi training. How would she respond to this request?

"Well sorry, but I'm a bit new to this in case you hadn't noticed." he mumbled as the captain rushed away.
He ran from corridor to corridor until he finally found the lift to the turret.
He took the lift up and sat in the gunner seat. Putting the ear peice in his ear and hooking up to the interface, he mummbled, "Well, there's a first time for everything."
The screen before him turned on and he swivled the controls around, getting a feel for the controls. The ship shuddered again.
"What the hell are you doing up there?!? Get shooting damn it!!" came the Captain's roar through the ear peice. Elron winced at the volume.
"Keep your shirt on, I'm getting to it."
He sighted, took aim, and pulled the trigger, letting two bursts fly from the gun barrel. The first missed but the second hit dead on.
"Haha! What do you say to that? Still think I'm worthless?" he mocked into the mike.
"Yeah, we'll see about that!" came the Captain's irritated reply.

"Hold on to your-" Burne began, and suddenly flipped the ship over, barely dodging two more shots that had come.

"Holy ****!" Elron swore as the ship shuddenly flipped. At that exact moment he was getting prepped to fire again, but with the sudden role, the shot missed by a mile.
"Mind warning me before you do that?!? Damn it!"

"Sure, in fact, why don't we also ask these guys to warn us before they shoot and to stay still so you can hit them." Said the captain sarcastically. "I thought you said the force would help you with that."

"Well it doesn't frickin' help when a retard flips us around just as I'm about to fire!!" Elron said exasperatedly, letting loose another shot.

"Of the two of you that 'retard' is the only one doing his job correctly."

"Yeah? Well, maybe you'd like to get up here and show me how its done, eh?" he said as he fired off another round, this one burrying itself into the hull of the opposite ship.

"Yeah? Well I'm a little busy right now, what with the fact that these guys are after us because of YOU!"

"Hey, you didn't have to accept my offer!"

Alyssa took the girl's hands in hers and smiled. "No training is ever wasted. But as you insist..." she stared intently into Tysyacha's eyes, focusing not on them, but seeming to see past them. Her smile deepened and her eyes refocused.

"Skywalker... Master Skywalker would love to welcome you into training," she said. Then she groaned. "But the BC is going to hate the idea." She chuckled. "Makes me wonder if they really hold to the 'fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering' stuff they always spout."

Tysyacha was puzzled, but intrigued. "What do you mean, Alyssa?"

"Screw you, you know we had no choice."

"What, did you think that I had actually searched the entire frickin planet to make sure I had the only part? If you did, then you're a hell of a lot more gullible than I thought!"

"What puzzles you?" Alyssa asked.

"The Undertaker lost some of it's shields." Roarboar said. "Keep firing. Aim for the airlock." Zaalbacca ordered.

"We don't have that kind of time." He switched channels. "Kayla how's it going?"

"It'd be going a lot better if we weren't moving so much."

"We'd be spacedust if we weren't moving so much. "

The ship suddenly shook hard.

"Where the hell did they hit us?"

"Next to the airlock cap." answered Burne

The captain swore.

"They're aiming for the damn airlock. Burne, you remember the manuevers you told us about, specifically the Womp rat turn?"

"You can't be serious."

"They hit the airlock, we're done for."

Burne nodded, then spoke into the comm. "For the newbie up in the turrets, this is your warning."

The ship suddenly lurched to a complete stop, did a 180 and accelerated to maximum speed, heading straight toward the Undertaker

"When you said you wondered if the Jedi really abode by their views on fear,
what did you mean? Why would the Bureaucratic Council, or the 'BC', as you
call it, hate the idea of my entering Jedi training? Are they afraid I'll fail?"

"Gee, thanks." Elron said as the ship did a flip. "That doesn't help me not loose my lunch."
There was a huge shudder.
"What the hell was that, might I ask??" Elron bellowed into the mike.
"Our shields are failing, genius!! Less talking, more shooting!"
"Well sorry!" he mummbled. "Now then..." he said, focusing himself, "time to kick it into overdrive."
He pulled on the Force, allowing it to aim the turret, allowing it to pull the trigger, allowing it to direct the stream of plasma right up, through a hole in the Undertaker's sheilds, and blast straight into the hull.
"Hope that hurt!" he yelled, as if the crew could here him.

"We will stop if you surrender.'" Roarboar says. "Response: I won't." Says HK. "Dang, That's a big hole they blew in us." Zaalbacca says surprised.

"Well gee I wonder what Master Skywalker'll say when you tell him that you pulverized the ship WITH HIS FREAKIN' PACKAGE ON IT!" Yelled Reynolds

"Ah, that," Alyssa answered slowly, cautiously. "Well... they've adopted the Old Jedi Order's views of how the Jedi should work... and in that is included a hesitance to train older students... especially ones who've had prior exposure to the Dark Side."

A pause. "But look on the bright side; the OC can often outtalk the BC and when they can't, the Sith Hunters frighten them into submission..." she chuckled. "But really, the Sith Hunters are rather friendly..."

"Shoot, shot us in the shield generator." Zaalbacca says. "Now what?" asks Roarboar. "We jump to Yavin 4. We will meet again." Zaalbacca says to the Fable. They jump towards Yavin 4.

Reynolds and the crew cheered

"Whaddya know, newbie. You might be worth something after all. Burne, when Kayla finishes jump us to hyperspace, I'm gonna contact Alyssa and tell her. If these guys were jedi, she can help us."

"Sith Hunters?" Tysyacha gulped. "Once they hear about the Nihilites,
these Hunters of which you speak will consider the Sith to be Younglings!"

"Maybe so," said Alyssa, "but it seems as if your former Masters are
also Sith, degenerate to the ultimate degree. Am I right about this?"

Not wanting to, Tysyacha nodded. She'd wanted to give Alyssa
some hope, some reason to want to fight them, but what good was
it if the hope you gave, and the reasons, turned out to be false?

"Anything else you'd like to ask?", smiled the captain obligingly.

"Can Jedi fall in love now? I have kind of a crush on Ben Skywalker already."

Stupid, stupid, stupid, thought Tysyacha, but it's the truth.
