I have always looked at the Starship Trooper universe and seen a good setting with a ton of creative potential, however no one had ever tried to seize the idea. The Movies, and the TV show expanded the book and gave us a greater picture of the universe, but there were issues. The movies were corrupted by greed and not completed. Even with the TV show giving us a greater understanding of things in the SST universe, it was incomplete.
When I look at a Starship Trooper game or mod, I see the same damn thing. Ground battles with the "Hold the line against overwhelming odds" theme. I love it, but it got old fast. What also got annoying was that noone tried to break out of the box and expand their ideas, which gave the SST universe a branded and tainted name.
The main goal of this mod is to make a good kick ass mod for Empire at War, and to expel all taint and bad images of the setting forever.
