Hey guys. I'm spending a hard day at work at the moment, and I've decided to script write today (I'm flitting between Tierra 2 and Beneath Monkey Island).

I've come up with some great pirate names that I'm going to use: An Asian pirate named Sum Ting Wong, and a French pirate named Sir Cray Blue!

I crack me up sometimes :P

How about a french sandal maker called Phillipe Phillop. Being a 'thongs' man you probably wont get it, but who gives a monkeys?

God it took me a while repeating MJ's names for me to get them and I have no idea where the pun is in yours Limp, so I guess this humour is wasted on me. Oh well. :~

Incidentally, love the new nick-name MJ! 8 of 12 was good but awkward to write and, again, the humour was wasted on me. I thought it was something to do with Star Trek but I couldn't be sure.

I had to explain it to Gabez over messenger last night. It took a few hours and numerous diagrams and scientific experiments to get that far.

Wait, wait, I think I get it!

It's fil-ip fil-op, right? I was saying fil-ip-pee fil-lop!

Why did you spell Phillipe with an e on the end? I DEMAND TO KNOW.

Might have something to do with it.

But in french it's spelled Philippe... not philipe.

And as far as the pronounciation is concerned, don't you actually sound the 'e' on the end?

Who said Philipe? In any case, it is the difference between having -ipp and -eep tacked on the end of Phil. Phil-eep or Phil-ipp

edit: oh Gabez did, I'm sure it was a mistake.

So sue me.

Gabez, you don't pronounce the 'e'.

Nice to see you Blow. How did you come across this fine forum?

To be honest I've been here before, my old account was still subscribed to a 3 years dead thread in which the fact you had to pay for Couronne deluxe was bemoaned. You still have to pay for it.

Just like a true writer/producer. Always have a degree that has nothing to do with creative writing. :)

I really can't wait for the Doctor Who series. I just wish I had broadband and not this crappy dial up to download it with.

Couronne deluxe?

If it helps, Adventurer, in my science degree I took creative writing subjects as electives. They were essentially the only distinctions I ever got in my degree :)

'Doctor Who - Time Chase' has now changed it's name to 'Doctor Who - Tempus Fugo'

Basically just because it sounds infinitely better in Latin. :)
