Hey-hey,

A couple'a hours ago I tried to start a server for my girlfriend and me to play a few rounds. I hosted, and she couldn't find my server. She hosted, I couldn't find hers. I checked the troubleshooter and opened the ports on my router, and tried again. This time she could find my IP number, but she couldn't connect to it. She tried hosting, same thing happened. We ended up just finding an empty public server, which worked fine, but why did this work when trying to start our own didn't?

my guess is you didnt setup your router properly. i however do not know how to do it, since i a) dunno anything about your router and b) dont like hardware firewalls :p
