has anybody downloaded nvidia's new gforce driver if so have the encountered any problems runing games at all

no I was wondering becuase sometimes it will break stuff but.

do you have the one that came out last month

I have version 77.72 (the latest) and everything seems to be working so far... hehehe I'm used to being the "guinea pig" for new drivers and such.. plus with XP you can always rollback your driver version if it's a problem...

I have a few archived versions as well... so if you wind up with major problems, just PM me and I can send you earlier versions of the driver if you want to go ahead and test out the new ones and it somehow messes your system :)

well, at least with nVidia you can try out their beta drivers for free. ATI's beta drivers are incredibly difficult to find.

of course, those are the drivers that can prove to be a bit unstable.....

If you do, roll back to ForceWare 66.33, they're older drivers, but they're the most stable by far.
