I've been trying to modify a few robes and in Kitty's tutorial for making custom armour it says to modify the subtype and make it the next number in you appearance.2da file but when I look in appearance.2da for the origional robe's number it's something completely different like a character entry or something. Can anyone help me?
If you are looking for the actualy texture number, it is in the item's .uti file.
