Are .xml files necassery for an item?
(Im making a custom item and I have the .uti file and was wondering if I needed it.)

What? An .xml file for KOTOR???

I have never seen one of those.

And no... you don't need one for an item, just the .uti.

Fred's KotOR Tool also has an .xml export for .2da files. I've used it a couple of times for some handy dandy .2da footwork.

But if you don't have Excel (or similiar spreadsheet app), it can pose a problem...

The only real use I've found for xml's was when I made upgradable lightsabers, because instead of having to redo all of the upgrade properties 3 times per crystal, I just loaded the first xml file into the other two sabers.
