I've been at this board for the last couple of days and I've noticed a trend. It seems there are fewer and fewer people defending the game. Yet everybody is still playing it a lot. It also seems as though most of the people on these boards are going to buy the game (at least I am). What is drawing us to this game? Simple, the SW universe. We'll all enjoy this game, regardless of its flaws, but have extremely high expectations for it, considering that its been the brainchild of every SW fan out there (I imagine), and it will always live in the shadow of our expectations.
At this stage, there really isnt much that we can do, except hope that some of the issues will be adressed before it's released. Other than that, we should be happy with what we've got, however imperfect it is, before we end up with another Force Commander.

See, we are just observing and pointing out weaknesses. Thats how game improve, by people pointing out the mistakes.

That doesn't mean we don't like the game, it just means that we want it to be improved.

Dont worry, I'm not backing the game. If you look on some of the other posts you can check out my constant ranting about the video game. I just wanted to indicate what the general tone seems to be...

I LOVE MP on the demo, but it could have been better without too much extra effort...LIKE ADDING A SKIRMISH!!!

But once the complete game comes out...IT IS MINE!!!
Like I said MP is too cool. And that is the only reason the demo is as cool as it is...:)
