Y'all expirimented some bugs yet? And I mean REAL bugs, not those like 'The At-ST doesn't fire right'.

I've found that sometimes when players click 'I'm ready' The player keeps flashing from red to green. This way a game can't be launched. Also sometimes players can't see everyone in the setup screen.
Both problems can be solved by logging in again.

During a game sometimes an 'out of sync' is detected. You'll get the name of the player who is out of sync, the game is saved and stopped.
I'd prefer if that player is just booted when this occors. Or better, the game will be paused and the host can decide to boot or to quit (chatting will be possible).

The third bug is this:
During a game my mini map went totally blanc. I have a screenshot of it here (http://www.rendo.dekooi.nl/~gkonings/SWBGbug.gif) (minimap is highlighted, the rest is made dark by me because it doesn't matter) You could still use the minimap ... but it didn't look right anymore.

Anyone had this bugs too. Anyone had more? Anyone gonna report this thread to mr. Gaber in the chat?

YD

p.s. thanks to kva, thrawn and gamma for finding the first 2 bugs :)

no bug here but a sugjestion about out of sync problems... Instead of stoping the game or booting the de-synced player why not have an option to hault the game and then re-sync the offending player (as well as the options for booting or quiting). While modem users might not care for the whole resync thing it probobly wouldn't be a big deal for broadband users and even some modem users would likely like to salvage a game that was going realy well for 2 hours.

Actualy there are probobly some good ways to pull resyncs that wouldn't use a TON of bandwidth (basicaly retransmiting the map from the host to desynced players) but no ideas float to the surface for me...

OK, I had listed a bug, but now that I have thoughouly (as I can today) examined the problem, make sure you disable your firewall software when trying to join games... no fault of the programers, just the user, me.

if you try to join and fail, make sure that your firewall software is not interfearing like mine was...

former post (typed in great haste):
here is a bug type problem for ya ta chew on... try and join a game if you are behind an ICS system... thats right! it wont work! (probobly)...

this is very likely an earlier build since it don't work through ICS and proxy yet...

For the mini-map--did you try clicking the other map button options? i'm not too familiar with it yet, but it looks like the military or ecenomy map is pressed...but maybe not...

For the mini-map - there is an option to turn off terrain. Just pop it back on. The button is down near the mini-map. One of those ...
