Hi, I just got a Dell Dimension XPS with the following:
P4 550 3.4GHz proc
1 gig 533MHz DDR2
ATI Radeon X800XT 256 PCIe
Twin WD Raptor 10kRPM HDDs in raid 0 config
19" NEC fe991sb monitor
It runs JK2 very smooth and fast, but it doesn't display the sky correctly. They're always banana-yellowish in color--without exception. Would this be a driver issue?
Could you take a screenshot of this?
When you start a game open the console (Shift + ~) and type :
seta r_fastsky 0

By turning fastsky on you can gain some FPS, much needed on low end computers.
Huumm I’m having the same problem as Craq I’ll give this code a try thanks coupes. I wonder why after playing this game to death and back for years now that this is happening. After reinstalling it on my pc last night. My guess is the new cat drivers I didn’t install the catalyst control panel I don’t want it.
My video settings are all cranked in the game menu , so why would it display the fast sky any ideas ?

Ati 128mb AGP 9600 xt with Cat 4.11 drivers

Try the Catalyst 4.12 beta, I have the same card and it works fine. Btw cracq, its probably your PCI-E X800 thats casuing the sky to go yellow.

Theres a better version of the 4.12 now. Omega Catalyst 4.12 Beta, its basically just thr normal 4.12 but touched up to make your games run better.
