problems with mods

ok, i didnt know where to put this so i started a new thread

whenever i put mods on, regardless of what they are, or if i use them at all., sorry as i was writting this my roommate informed me it does it anyway, it seems as if the top layer of texturing is gone
ie. the sith troopers are no longer chromed, the black accents are gone, things like that. not sure whats goin on, some help would be appreciated,
and yes, i checked all the possible configuration settings

Sounds like an appearance bug, look for a file called appearance.2da in your override folder.

Also check your graphics settings.

it could be that your missing txi files for some of the textures. we could really use some screenies so as to help.

im using one at a time or none at all, or any combination of whats been put out,
nothing seems to be helping,
how do i take a screenshot, i would love to show you what i mean, just dont know how

Try out this app. IrfanView 3.95 (http://www.download.com/IrfanView/3000-2192_4-10335353.html?tag=lst-0-1)

You can enable it to take screen shots of the current program you are running(like a game ;) ) you just need to set the output folder and the file type(.jpg) then to take a screen shot its a 2 key combo.

There are other ways like enableing screen shots in swkotor.ini
by setting

EnableScreenShot=1

in game options.

to take a screen you just need to hit printscreen. But this is an unreliable method and saves the files as .tga
