I and other fans would pareceat an actual answer I have searced the web off and on over the past few years and found no proof just rumors of the new sam and max game that seems to have been abandond. Lucas arts there are alot of fans cerious as to what hapned to this title. So how bout it an answer to what happend to this game. Is it dead, in production, put on the shelf tell lucas is done with SW?

It was in production, and was very near completion, then abruptly cancelled in March with no statement other than that they felt it was not the proper time to release an adventure game to the market

have you checked the little thing that we call a "press release" on lucasarts' website??? apparently, these press releases are "official" and they happen to have one about the game being "cancelled" (you know, not in production anymore)

toenail, that press release was taken down off LucasArts site long ago. They were tired of the emails, and do not want to rememeber that they even had an adventure game in production recently.
