PS2 Cant Log in, but Socom is fine???

So My problem is when I ry to play multiplayer it counts to 60 and says its connecting but then says to check my network configs, I do and they are fine. I can play socom online with no problems any one have any ideas? Please help.
I do have a router bt like I said socom plays fine?
