I wouldn't really like to see a republic commando board game. It doesn't fit it well. It's about You (the commander) giving orders to almost identical NPC helpers. Translate that to a board game, and you get...
1) A game wich you play by yourself, in wich you control all the characters.
2) fights over who gets to be the leader of the squad.
Unless you make it a D&D type of game. That would work.
unless you make it chess like, or like RISK. :D
and it doesn't have to follow the same storyline :p

My friend bought a Star Wars board game that came with a video of Darth Vader. You would put it in, and it would be looking out from the Death Star. Every 10 minutes or so, Vader would come on the screen and say stuff. It mgiht be the Game that came with the Luke and Vader action figs.
