hey guys I run my Jedi Outcast and
Jedi Acadmey games in 1024x768 and
they look perty good that way and I am
pleased with that and I am wondering
if yall have had any luck running both
games at a higher frame rate.Because
I noticed on G4TechTV that there verison
of the game looks better I guess its
because of the Graphics card that they
have on there PC's that they use for segments they do for the title.I am running it on a Nvida Gforce2 pro card
so I guess thats the reason on well let
me know what yall on JA/JO on thanks.....

I would run it at
1600x[somethingorother]
but my monitor
is too small to run
it at that resolution.
so at the moment
I run it at 1280x10[something] xD
And sorry
For taking the mick
Out of the way you post.

My last runs through both JKII and JA (I just finished JA again before work this morning) I ran at 1600 x 1200, with full settings ... proper settings *can* make a difference in terms of appearance.

My monitor is a 19 inch, so I run JA/JK2 (and my other games) at 1024x768.

Sure I can run at higher resolutions, but there's no need, and it just reduces framerates (even if only slightly).

though I want volumetric shadows! There's another shadow option, Projected. It looks slightly worse than volumetric shadows, but runs quite a bit faster. Have you tried that?

Yeah. But it kinda bugs me a bit because it doesn't disappear off ledges making floating shadows off slanted surfaces or ledges and it slows me a little bit more than simple shadows.
