My problem is with gtkRadiant
I am by no means a beginner, since I've been mapping for the last half year or more.

But I have encountered an error I can figure heads nor tails to
When I add a misc_model, I can enter all the values I want, but as soon as I deselect using Escape, it becomes invisible.
When I compile, it is the map, but I can't see it in the editor.
When I use Misc -> Find Brush -> Find Entity, I can find it, but as soon as I deselect again, it disappears again.
I don't get it.

I've looked through my preferences, and none of my settings seem to be causing this. Also, I was suggested to see if the setting was 'Skinned and boxed', as I did. I tried every possible setting on that list, the misc_model becomes invisible as soon as I deselect.

I have also tried completely reinstalling, but absolutely to no avail.

I search your help.
Is there anyone that knows how to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance

The path you are typing in is incorect. If GTK doesn't know what to draw it draws nothing. It should have a little wire box aomewhere though..

:)

If ever you can't see some class of objects, check the View > Filter menu.
