Hi guys. There is some rumor running around saying that The jk2 master server is shutting down in 8 months. Personally I don't believe but I thought I might as well get the truth. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
i seriously doubt it, just look how long quake3's master server has been up. granted it a bit more popular....
ya a lot of people have been saying look at Diablo, Medal of Honor, and other old games including Jk1 I believe. Also there are no announcements on ravensoft or lucasarts about it. I am pretty damn sure its fake but just to fill those doubts wanted an official comment on it.
If they did, that would screw a lot of people over :D
meh, if anything, a crap load of ppl will move to gamespy
But it's sooooooo much moneyyyyyyyy. If they do shut down the server my life will be over. But what else is new?
