Totally off-topic :

In SW:ESB, we learn that Kenobi was trained by Yoda himself. In SW:TPM, we discover that he was in fact trained by Qui-Gon Jinn. In the novel, it is made even clearer that Jinn has always been Kenobi's teacher.

At the end of TPM, Kenobi is granted the title of Jedi Knight.

So, when is it exactly that Kenobi was instructed in the ways of The Force by Yoda?

Actually, I thought up that one by myself! Impressing, huh ?

Anybody else noticed some "glitches" between the trilogy and the prequel ?

(I quit JediKnight.Net when a guy asked me, and I quote: "Well, why is it that at the end of RoTJ, when you see Anakin's ghost and Kenobi's ghost, you don't get to see Qui-Gon's ghost? What's up with that?)

DuH!

Maybe Qui-Gonn, being an ascended high master, chose to reincarnate later on, so he could stay involved.

Maybe he was even Luke! Qui-Gonn could have been present at that bonfire after all...

How the heck could he have been present if the movie was filmed almost 20 years before TPM ? I doubt Lucas had even invented Qui-Gon, let alone figure out who would play him.

Ah well .... That's what happens when you shoot the prequel after the actual sequel.

No, sillies, it's because Qui-Gon had nothing to do with Luke. They never knew each other. Luke would see this 4th ghost and say "who the heck is that?" and we, the viewers would've said "who the heck is that? What a crappy ending; this guy we don't even know shows up." And Luke woulda said "what a crappy celebration; this guy I don't even know shows up with my dad and two trainers, trying to pass himself off as someone I know; what a jerk; I'm outta here; the galaxy can kiss my arse."
So you see? He couldn't have been there!
Whew.

Why, I...ooohh...

There IS NO sequel/prequel paradox, because Star Wars IS REAL!!!

(Of course I'm kidding.)

It doesn't matter when we saw what movie in this reality, because in the Star Wars universe, it has its own time line. Movie magic makes it happen that way.

Anyone care to comment on whether or not Yoda is a very old Namek?

Yoda is in fact my aging grandma. I would very much so appreciate that from now on, we refer to Yoda as Kint's Green GrandMama.

Did I mention I needed some kind of vacation ? Preferably in a mental institution of some sort.

Maybe we could swing by Half-Life, pick up a few Head Crabs, run over to Unreal and bag a couple Bitterfish and have a tailgate party down by the temple with Lara Croft. I'll bring that untaxed liqour I got from XWA and we'll all try to figure out what that orange arrow means.

Well, Oranges originated in China. Until they were introduced to Europeans during the Renaissance, we had no word to describe the color orange.

WTF this means about the arrow, my lawyer advises me not to conjecture. It's just too pointed an issue. *snicker*
