I challenge anyone who reads this to find a no-cd crack for single player mode of JA that does'nt disable the "devmapall" code. I cant do the game without cheating and I lost my CD. All the patches i have tried make it so that "devmapall" does not work and that makes it almost impossible for me to use the game! PLEASE, someone help me!!!

The patched version of JA recognizes "devmapall" as another map loader function. With a patched version, you must enter "helpusobi 1" to activate cheats.

You should replace your cd before you come asking for help at a forum where many lucasarts and raven developers lurk:rolleyes:

Silly boy.

Firstly: Posting for no-CD cracks is a NO-NO here at LucasForums. :tsk:

Secondly: DO NOT use devmapall! "helpusobi 1" in console works SO much better for single player. In multiplayer, use "devmap <map name>" and stop using devmapall!

What he said...

the SP version of devmapall is helpusobi 1

Actually, using devmapall forces the game to reload all cached textures etc, so it takes longer than normal to start the map. Use devmap in MP and helpusobi 1 in SP.

more importantly, how can you not beat the game without cheating? JA isn't that hard unless you're playing at the jedi master difficulty but the first time.

Thanks for your advice all and i'm sorry if i was not supposed to ask for a crack; I only signed up a couple of days ago... And I can do some of the game, but the thing is I don't know anyone worse at PC games than I am; on a scale of one to ten i'm at about -79!

Well, there is a no CD program that you can buy, called Virtual Drive, get it at Virtual Drive (http://www.farstone.com)

Works well with almost ALL games.

Since it appears this person signed onto the forums just so he could beg for a cd crack (which is against the rules) he can consider himself banned and this thread locked.

If you want to find ways to run a game without needing the original cd, there are easier and better ways to search for it than spamming our forum.
