I was just wondering if some beta testers could give us some info about the game, like how its really like, how much does a ship cost and so on, thx!

Beta testers usually have to sign a non-disclosure legal document type thingy.
And Beta-testing haven't started yet as far as I know. :)

Beta test started last 4th, but it was only for the people who went to that SWG convention time ago, Beta test already started yesterday for everyone who applied.
Beta has a NDA which means can't talk about it and im apart of the beta
But is jump to lightspeed the same as an empire divided, but then you can travel from planet to planet with your ship?
Basically, yes, except there is combat... and I believe 100(?) more missions added.

I think Jan has the Permission on his Moderator power too. Due to when the forums got hit by alot of pre beta SWG spam. ;)

I think he got it from completing the "Suck up the Dev's" Themepark. They gave him super-uber moderating abilities along with the hammer.

Yeah I'm in the beta too Eula Requires non-disclosure. I can say that I got the Beta on both of my accounts and that the eye candy is gorgeous, other than that you're on your own.

Also Lucasforums has nothing or no way affilated with Sony so the suck up to the dev's thing doesn't work :)
No, but we have a good relations to LucasArts, which is the boss of the project called SWG. ;)

I doubt it, being a mod here don't give you special rights, they would get if it they're lucky.
I just have to say I like Beta, the only bad thing is that since I beat games quickly I'll be already burned out before it comes on live.

DevilDoll, any info on when the results for the contest will be put out? I really wanna get in beta :(
No info yet, i think it will take a while since this is beta 1 with only 2 weeks (I think) of being public, the poor devs are working hard with all the bugs and reports we send and I haven't see anything about giving the result of the contest.

uhm i also got in beta.. but not because im a mod here. because i aplied and i received the mail :)
we mods dont get special rights to anything really. we find out most things just like everyone else... and a lot of the times i found out last of everyone else :p
and yes jan can ban people because in the early days we needed more people that could ban :) so he has special powers :p
and uh,, we cannot talk about beta. but uhm we could rebel and risk being kicked out of beta. i dont want that...
