With my previous installation I was able to enjoy all the juicy Frame Buffer effects, the ambient lighting and such.. totally orgasmic.

Now that I have formatted and reinstalled my entire system, when I turn Frame Buffer on, sod all happens. There's no effects!! Totally disappointed!!

Sys specs:
Pentium 4 3.4 Ghz
1024 MB RAM
Radeon x800XT 256MB
Catalyst 4.8 (latest from ATi)

Also have the latest patch (1.03) of KotOR. So why does it not work? It says it's on, but there is absolutely no orgasmic effects. Can anyone help me out?

I have the same problem. I changed from my Nvidia GeForce Ti4600 to a MSI RX9800 Radeon 9800 Pro. Now I have better performance in most games but no frame buffer effects in kotor.
