There are so many mods out there for KOTOR, but I would like someone to post here and have a few words and a link if possible for a very good mod, that has pleased them a lot.

I vote for the Ebon Hawk Basement! Because its my baby! :)

seriously - I do like that mod and use it all the time. You get access to some useful vendors even one with special items.

you can get that at my site http://kotor.hosey.org)

There are soo many good mods out there.
svosh (http://www.angelfire.com/crazy2/xclone_0101/kotor_mods.htm) has some excellent reskins and new items.

Prime (http://warped.prodns.tripod.com/games.html) has some excellent robe reskins.

I'd have to say those are probably my top 3 favorite.

Check this (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=122049) sticky for the best list of mods available.

I would suggest the Holowan Plug-in 2 assembled by T7nowhere and containing many of the great mods by all of us at Holowan Labs. It is easy to install and really "expands" the game.

Here is the link: http://www.pcgamemods.com/5609)

I hope this helps
:D

No conflicts if I install the Ebon Hawk mod and the Holowan plug-in 2?

I believe it is included in the Holowan plugin.

I'm pretty sure its included, however I"m not sure if the latest patch is in there (it fixes some problems on unknown world). If you get the holowan plugin, I would suggest going to my site and installing the patch for the basement - its a painless endevor.

Have fun! :)

Thx for all your help :)

Jeez, haven't seen so helpful people in a lot of forums, usually everyone gets flamed that this has been already posted, but everyone is so friendful here :D

i've said it countless times before: this is the best modding community i've ever been to. its moderated both honestly and fairly, and everyone is willing to help out and give advise.

btw, i'm not sure if people are too willing to vote on the best mods; we just pull for the ones that we regularly use. i personally use T7's plugin, my own mods, the string of mods that achillies released, clonetrooper armors (darth tomer), and several quality svosh skins :D . oh yeah, don't forget about most of the stuff that redhawke released... *leans back in leather chair* i've got it made.

Unfortunately my site has yet again exceeded its monthly bandwidth. In the meantime people can find the robes on pcgamemods.com.

@En liten mus it's Samurai. There is actualy quite a bit of difference between ninja and samurai. If you want to further the dicussion I suggest we take it to PM as to not cluther up moding threads with off topic subjects.

As for the finding the best mods I think the best collection of the out there is the Holowan plug-in. Atleast that's my favorite and I always add new items to it with Kotor tool.

Well what the heck I'll plug in my two little mods that change Bendak's armor to black version, that you can get when you bet him and give the female scoundrel a reskined version of seprithro's Mission clothes. You can get them here (http://www.pcgamemods.com/u/3569/) if you want

a ninja could kick yo ass...and Reign of the Sith along with KotOR Arena, Ebon Hawk basement, and Holowan Plug-in 2 is just about every mod u will ever need...and throw in RedHawkes recruit just to make things interesting...and maybe a few reskins...there is a rather terrific reskin pack on Pcgamemods that has a really terrific reskin of mission, zalbaar, bandon, jolee, and HK (HK is really good)

Anyone mention Sep's old site (http://www.freewebs.com/seprithro)?)

I'm not too sure, I haven't used too many recruitment mods, but my favorite was RedHawke's. Original idea, no bugs that I've found yet, but I haven't gotten very far in my current game.

To Colja -- I downloaded and installed the Plug-in 2 Mod as you suggested. Everything seems to work fine. However, when I loaded one of my save-games (outside Starforge, specifically), most of my Jedi offensive powers were gone. Is this to be expected (i.e. I need to start a new game), or is there a problem? (I'm very inexperienced in this whole area but would like to "expand" my game). Thanks,

Vappour

I would suggest starting a new game, unfortunately some of the mods require this. It sounds like you are having a conflict in that save game, but no worries, starting over is much more fun anyways with this kind of mod and you will get all the items you would have missed earlier in the game plus some new PC heads to choose from at the start. I hope you enjoy!

If it's only the force powers, you could try to edit your save game with KSE and see what happens: http://www.pcgamemods.com/6692) -

Colja -- thanks for the response/advice.

Darth333 -- How does the KSE Save Game work? (As I mentioned, I'm new to all this. I do appreciate your help -- especially if it gives me an even "better" game).

Well, no one will forget now, I added a link to my buddy's site in my sig.

BTW, there's also www.voc-clan/kotor , they have a few of the older mods there, although most of them can be found in T7's plugin.
