Hello. This is my second attempt at retexturing Malak. I glad that some members liked my first. So I tried to do something new, usind new Photoshop modes and messing with the shiny texture. It's not complete yet. I'm trying to smooth some things out.

I'm having trouble coloring the Jawless Malak tga. So it'll take some time.
Feedback will be much appreciated. Be gentle with me I'm a noob:) This is only my second mod.:D
I think you work is excellent. I'm still not that fond of the adjustments to the head tattoos but the new body work is very impressive. Keep up the great work!
Thats a darned good Malak reskin you have there! :D
Though I am also not too keen on the head tatoos, they seem a little too bright and appear to actually clash with the rest of the heads skin texture.
Possibly darken and blur/blend the edges of the head tatoos a little more, and that might solve the problem, but don't quote me on that! :D
And Helter, keep up the cool work! :D
The black and shiney textures look good , the red .. to me its to .. RED!
Everything good except of the head.
Same thing here: good work but the red is a little too... red (bright). I would chose a slightly darker red tone for the cape and for the head I think the tatooes would be nicer in gray. The body reskin looks very good :)
Nice I took a crack at retexturing DArth Malak, he looks like Darth Magic, The Dark Lord of All BAsketball. Really good retexture though.

Okay. I'm lost on what to do to the head. Maybe I could release the body alone and you can use the head you want. I tired a black tattoo but it wasn't blending in. It looked crooked.
If you see the mess that is the body tga...well let's just say I don't think anyone will be able to re-use it.
Let me know if the body alone will be okay.
I'd download the whole thing myself, even though I think the red is a bit to bright.
The end story is what do you like? I don't think modding is so much about what others want, but what you want and like. What I mean is if you do something the way you like it and want to share go ahead if no one else likes it that's their problem not yours.

My personal opinion is to roll with the body only. Your efforts to do something new with Malak's head are admirable, however being someone who's tried it, I know that it's hard to find something that looks good.
I can wait to download your mod!

Glamador. I have an idea for you to try. Create a bare-chested Malak. Your abs look great. Do the chest now. Give him a He-Man look.:D
u know wat? i think i might try that!...a bare upper body malak...i might actually be able to use a photoskin for that! take a picture of some body builder and mold it to fit malak...good idea...ur just chock full of 'em r'nt u?

Just thought I'd mention that I fired up an old savegame from the Viewing Platform last night and fought Malak with his new skin....
It was AWESOME! Great work, Helter. I think the choice of body armor adds a sense of consisitency with the other Sith armors, plus it looks incredible on the load screen.

u know...try as i might i cannot replicate your efforts...if i wanna incorporate armor into my malak skin i would need to copy and paste...u did a terrific job making it impossible to replicate...really original

Do you know of a book where I can learn Photoshop. I don't know how to cut and paste in PS. I don't know how to lasso. I don't know to take apart a texture. Basically I don't know anything about PS.
Where did you learn to do those things like give Malak abs?

Well...I think I will make a zip with different heads I've tried to recolor. I'm working on some currently. It never comes out perfect. I'll post it as soon as I can.
u can actually customize the abs on malak by cutting out his chest section, recoloring it, and working with the sizing
