svцsh: For his super fantastic, Professional reskins. That set a new standard of quality for KotOR reskins.

Seprithro: Set impossibly high standards for lightsaber creation

Doom_Dealer: Created several mods including the Holowan Spire, which everyone has to like, and for making a easy to understand module tutorial, if only I knew how to make my own scripts then I could really do something.

RedHawke: Has been the most helpful modder to me, although I have observed that Darth333 has to be one of the most helpful modders overall, and unfortunately I haven't really known Kitty Kitty. Anyway RedHawke has made several items/item packs, gave invaluble help with the Lightsaber Pack, and made an incredible recruitment mod.

add Gameunlimited. If my swissed cheese brain serves me well, he started the recruitable npcs frenzy on this forum with his recruitable yuthara mod :)

Thanks dex, just feelin sorry for myself really. I mean I have been around for quite a while and I do have almost 25 mods up for DL at PCGM. I am not happy with alot of my old stuff, but hey there was a learning curve, and at least I tried.

Your name should definitely be added Colja. Your reskins are excellent and are among the most originals :)

cchargin should also be added for his great work on the model format and the mod manager.

I'm looking at the list right now and if you add Colja and all of his great re-skins, then I think that about sums it up, after all this is a "Hall of Fame" list not a "List of Modders", to me you can't just add everyone there...lol

I havnt been on for a while so i was unable to add Colja at the exact time you wanted me to so EVERYBODY JUST SETTLE DOWN AND HAVE SOME COFFEE. as for yoko I agree on the stuck thing but i dont deserve hall of fame.

That list just about sums it up, but yes, you should add yourself, and I already said this, but add Prime too, he's always been really helpful around here. (Nice reskins too)

Yeah, guess you should, but thats alot of modders.

Perhaps The list should be reduced to a TOP 10 Of KotOR modders and each person could be chosen On Contributions made to the community such as Tools made to aid modders, Technical information on how to make mods, helpfullness in forum, number of mods made and complexity of those mods.

I considered making this stuck but to be honest we have enough stuck threads at the moment. if we keep sticking threads thats all the entire first page will be.

Or how about this, we replace the Dialogue + Module creation tutorial since it is already in the Do you want to start modding kotor start here tutorials. What do you think, it makes sence right?? It wouldnt add to the long list of stickies.

Can I vote for no more stickies? Noobs don't read them as is. Why compound the problem by adding more?

If I'm being honest I really dont see a need to have this thread as a "stuck" thread, stuck threads are supposed to be helpful or very informative, and I don't see this as very much of either. Although it may lead to the best examples of good mods or the best people to ask for help, I think that this deserves a link to from a sticky thread, but not to be stuck on its own.

I simply wanted to honor the poeple who made significant modding contributions to our modding comunity. Is that a bad thing? I dont understand why you dont find this relevant? We dont have to make it a sticky but i do believe it was needed.

Personally I think the great modders are remembered through there mods and tools and not because of a list, I do agree that it is a nice list to have I just don't think it is right for a sticky, thats all.

When i did make this post i didnt think anyone would go all nuts on me and do a movie star type line, "modders are remembered by the mods everyone lives happily ever after" come on. I know that when i came to these forums a LONG time ago I had no idea who KittyKitty was and i still dont know who the heck Colja is or what he did. And n00bs who come in probably wont either, is it too much that i wanted to honor some of the people who made me want to mod???!!?!? Can I not have that in pease!?!?!? Dag you guys, I am sorry I ever said anything. This is JUST A LIST! There is no reason to get bent out of shape over such a thing. I am sorry Gsccc this much trouble has come from a tribute. The ONLY reason I even said anything is because I spent many months and long hours making mods for THE COMMUNITY, I released everything I ever made to try and just maybe enhance someone elses game. I feel like an A-hole for even saying anything, but yes I did want a little recognition before I faded into the sunset and its just not worth it. Those of you who have been supportive, thanks, and those little dark jedi runnin around the forums spamin'....you will be my slaves in the afterlife.........


BTW Gsccc Try one of my mods.....heck you might even like it.
