Is it possible to add a model class? Like in appearances.2da it has columns modela, modelb, etc. Can I add like a modelx column for instance, and have the game use it?

Thx again in advance for any suggestions or answers.

Well for one thing you would need a model to put in it, and since we can't make armor models, (I don't think we can anyway.) you would have to settle for npc models. :p As far as I know you can't add a new column, but you can still add retextured npc armor as new items. Check T7's guide on adding retextured npc armor as new items.

Thx for the assist, no probs, wasn't so much concerned about adding new item as much as trying to see if there was another way to do it. :)
