I'm not a programmer could someone please help me though doing this (it's just a experiment). TK102, please help or a thing like MDLOPs that makes .are to .gmax, or .3ds format. PLease some one help it could open a new world of modding!
*.are files have no model information contained in them they only have information about the module. They are base on GFF format so you cant edit them in gmax, sorry. :(

Then where do the maps for KotOR come form?
Isn't it .MOD's? LoL modules aren't my thing, but I'm learning!
No .MODs have all the gff, stuff and more (utc files used for chacter is in that module and dlg's, etc.)
