I have been busy learning how to model lately, and I thought I'd post some WIP pics. :)

This is the reference pic:

It's called "Sword Of Darkness", and I thought it might be cool as a DS sword
(if I can get it ingame, of course :p)

Right, on to the model.

These pics only show the blade, the hilt hasn't been modeled yet.
I might thin it down a bit, I need some opinions on the thickness! :D

The textured version. It's a bit blurry and low-res, I'll retouch/redraw it in Photoshop when the model is done.

WoW. Very cool. Very evil. Hope you can get it in game, I'd love to slaughter sith, big z, or mission with that.

Very nice work, Temporary Tomato - very nice.

As to my personal preference - I rather am partial to the "normal" texture of your sword - though - if you did the "evil" version in a shinier black gloss, w/gold etching - that would be rather striking as well (excuse the pun):-)

I'll have to keep an eye out for the finished product.

As I said, the textures are rather blurry and low-res, I'll redraw/retouch them when the model is finished. :)

I just did a quick inverted txd for people to get the general idea of the "evil" texture.

.That looks cool made..i coudda bought that sword from some1 for 30$...He didnt like it but who bought it for greed...You know...Anyway it looks cool..you have a mod skill maybe you can amek some samurai swords or something that woud be cool 2:D

I like it the sword looks very very cool, but I think it would look better if it was thinned down a bit like you said.

Thats very nice. I wonder if you could somehow get it to glow. I think a slight aura of black or red would be very cool for an evil sword, but I have no idea how it could be done. :(
