Playing through ToEE (yes it sucks) i noticed these really nice crystals , they would be perfect (IMHO) for lightsaber crystals.

Those crystal images look pretty good Jackel, though the skull is a little over the top! :D

Like T7 asked, I also would like to know... What is ToEE?

Cool idea! Possibly call it the Necros Crystal or something like that.

That would be a lot of lightsaber .uti editing though! :D

[Homer Simpson] lightsaber .uti editing......ummmmmmm [/Homer Simpson]

No but really it depends on what you want to do if you only wanted to have it be used by the 7 basic lightsabers (red, blue, green, yellow, violet, mantle, and heart) it wouldn't take TOO long probably, because it is just one line in every .uti but it is probably just more of an annoyance, oh well. I'm not going to volunteer for the job just yet, maybe if I'm bored and I do it for myself, I'll let you know ;)

Actually it would be more than one line in each saber uti, it would be several crystal upgrade lines, one for attack bonus, one for extra damage, one for force regen, blaster bolt deflection, keen, etc.

But you are right it probably wouldn't take too long! :D

I was going to put them up as replacements for the standards crystals , but then remembered PCgamemods would remove it for just being images ripped from another game :D

Yea I was wrong about it being one line I was only thinking about the darkside restriction, but I believe he was wondering about a DS Solari crystal, and I "think" that it only has four entries I can't remember, but yea I bet I could wip it out in an hour or less depends on my motivation.:D.....not saying I would do it though.

Where else is someone supposed to get good quality pics? So even if someone were to make a new saber and saber crystal they still wouldn't allow it? How would they find out though ;)?

Some doofus would report it, remember the rating system on pcgamemods, some people just get their kicks messing up other peoples stuff.

yea I remeber seeing that at one time T7's Holowan Plug-in was rated a 6.2 or something rediculously low like that, where is the justice???? ahhhh?? yea I stopped paying attention to those after while.

:p It wouldn't be removed for using ripped images Mav, but the fact that said mod is SOLELY made of ripped images is why they would take it down. LoL personally, I think that the perfect solution to pcgamemods rating problem would be to show people's names next to their rating.

If they did that the site would be shut down quick, fast, and in one heck of a hurry because the people giving things a rating of 1 just to bring the rating down wouldn't stop doing it, they'd just get so much hate mail that all of the mail servers out there would start complainging, it'd get traced back somehow or another. And the site would get shut down for maliciously causing the overloading of mailboxes or some such crap. So that wouldn't work either and in the end would probably be a less usefull idea than say not allowing people to vote more than a certain amount less than the average so far. If everyone else in the free world believes a mod deserves a 7 then they shouldn't let that 1 guy over there give it a 1, because then to me it's obvious what he's trying to do. Because if you average it out:

10 votes. 4 7's, 3 6's, 1 8, and 2 1's you get: 56 total score and average of 5.6. Say those 1's weren't there or you could vote no lower than say 3 given the previous scores. Now you have either 54/8 for 6.75 or 60/10 for 6.0. Best bet apparently would be for you to drop the low scores.

The problem is that one or two people vote one, with about 13 differant user names, for some sad reason they set up many user accounts and just vote 1 each time,

i ahve an incident with a recruitment mod i did (suvam) somehow it 13 1/10 votes in the space of 5 mins, hmm, now i wonder how that might of happened :)

When it comes down to it though, I really don't care what people rate my mods, because when I make a mod most of the time it's because it is something I like, so it doesn't matter to me if someone else doesn't.

Wow you have some imagination there lol.

Heh, all my mods start out as something I wanted in my game (excluding requests) Which I release when it's done.

As Mav and Mono said , i make my mods for me first then release them afterwards.

Which is really what mods should be , something you want.
