It all works fine but the client downloads the files soo damned slow from the server..
is there a way I can send the files faster to clients ?
No. That feature is ancient, and was meant only for downloading small files.
It's better to have a website with the files or links to files that you want people to download, and then direct people there to download them the normal way.

That is from a mod for RTCW. There is no such thing for Jedi Academy, unfortunately.
