Trying to recreat Corran Horn's saber color (white center with faint green outline) only i'm doing it by altering an existing mod. Everytime I alter the blade color, it crashes the game.

Using Paintshop Pro 8, and i've only gotten it to work once (not crash) but the texture was all messed up and all over the place. Any Advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

there is no reason a saber color should make your game crash I have literally 30+ saber colors and my game has never crashed

Maybe, just maybe, he's also messing with the .mdl file!
When I was making my first saber and started messing around with the .mdl the game would not LOAD a savegame that I already had the custom blade.
Is that what is happening to you?
If it yes just delete the .mdl file that you altered from the Override folder.

Best Advice:

When any sort of custom item is messing with you rgame instead of trying to fix it you are usually better off just sracpping the thing and starting over from scratch.

Well, that's true to an extent...

Look for the simple things first. I had a set of lightsabers I made screw up in the game, ie they turned into the wierd little egg model and would screw up if you tried to equip them. I checked everything and was getting very frustrated, but about that time I decided to check the upcrystals.2da and voila!

So look for obvious answers, then scrap :)
